SSJ Ministry Foundation Board
Working Together to Alleviate Ignorance, Poverty and Oppression
The Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester established a Sisters of Saint Joseph Ministry Foundation in 2003. The Foundation is a separate entity from the Sisters of Saint Joseph Congregation. Federal Tax ID# 20-0931705
The Foundation’s reach extends beyond the ministries that the Sisters of Saint Joseph operate. The Foundation accepts grant applications from ANY non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose values reflect the Mission and Vision Statements of the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
An organization’s application, in order to be considered, should have as its purpose the alleviation of the conditions which cause ignorance, poverty, and oppression and the fostering of justice and mercy. The maximum grant awarded is $10,000.
Applications for the 2027 grants will be available this coming Fall. If you are a previous grant recipient, please complete the Grant Report (fillable PDF). For questions, email grants_committee@ssjrochester.org.
