Sister Patricia Trovato (formerly Sister Anne Michael)

“I met the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester as a student at Nazareth Academy,” said Sister Patricia Trovato, formerly Sister Anne Michael. “My heart was touched by their joy, simplicity, and love of God and for God’s world. My heart continues to be touched by these amazing women.

“My journey as an educator has been deeply enriching and rewarding. I first began teaching at Blessed Sacrament. I then moved on to Corpus Christi, St. Monica’s, Oneida Indian Reservation in Green Bay, Wisconsin, St. Augustine’s, Park Ridge Chemical Dependency for Adolescents, Holy Cross, St. Kateri School, and presently I am at Nazareth Elementary School, and the SSJ Altar Breads ministry.

“I remain immensely grateful for all the many blessings I’ve been showered with from my family, my community, all the children whom I have been privileged to teach and call ‘child of God,’ as well as all who have journeyed with me along the way.”
