Sister Marian Dimino
Sister Marian Dimino, formerly Sister Lucina, shares the thread that wove together her career. She was taught by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester from kindergarten through 8th grade at Sacred Heart Cathedral Grammar School, followed by four years at Nazareth Academy. Their dedication led her to follow the call to be a Sister of Saint Joseph.
Sister Marian shares, “Music was the thread that wove together my career. Violin and piano lessons with Sister Jeanne Troy in grammar school and the strong music programs at Nazareth Academy and Nazareth College, currently Nazareth University, developed the gift of music inherited from my musically gifted family.
“I have taught over my years of service at St. Anne School, Our Lady of Lourdes School, St. John the Evangelist School (Greece), Cardinal Mooney High School, Eastman School of Music, Bishop Hogan Jr. High School, Bishop Kearney High School, and at St. John Neumann Elementary School (formerly St. Ambrose School).
“It is with eminent gratitude to God, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester, my family, friends, students, and colleges, that I continue to weave this mosaic, called life.”
