Favorite Prayers of Sister Jean Rodman

May you have renewed Spirit sufficient for the task.

Lord, may all the good and all the harm that I have done, whether deliberately or unintentionally, remind us all of Your Hesed and bring Your blessing on us all.

Sometimes, when I am especially grateful - or wounded - the prayer turns around:

Lord, may all the good and all the harm done to me, whether deliberately or unintentionally, remind us all of Your Hesed and bring Your blessing on us all.

When I am the driver or passenger, (or "moving" into a potentially contentious conversation) my heart always says:

Dear Lord, may we neither come to harm nor cause it.
