Sisters Welcome Pharmacy Students

Students from The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College had a chance to practice their skills in a real life setting.
On November 7, 2011, Professor Anthony Corigliano and 40 of his students hosted an informational fair at the SSJ Motherhouse. The fair concentrated on various health issues relating to an aging population.
The students displayed posters and handed out brochures as they answered specific health questions. The topics included diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, pain management, bed sores, arthritis, blood sugar, dangers of smoking, and dental hygiene.
The Sisters were happy to welcome the group and learn some good info! To see pics from the event please check out our Facebook page.
