The producers of the recent Geva Theater hit “Late Nite Catechism” have graciously donated just over $5,000 to the SSJ Retirement Fund.
The one woman show about a “sister” who teaches Catechism classes played at Geva’s Nextstage Theatre in November and December.
During the performance run, Sister Sheila Walsh had the opportunity to get to know the show’s star, actress Colleen Moore. Sister Sheila invited Moore to have lunch at the motherhouse. During the visit, Moore mentioned how impressed she was with the graciousness of the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
“Late Nite Catechism” has been touring the country for over 12 years and in that decade has contributed more than three million dollars to religious congregations.
